  • Age: Senior
  • Sex: Female

Zelda is a 5 yr old shorthaired tortoiseshell who came to us from a local shelter where'd she'd been turned in after her elderly male owner died. She takes awhile to settle in but after she does we are told she is a very loyal companion. She has some "tortitude"-she is an independent thinker. She will approach you for attention when she wants it. She can get a bit overstimulated so no young children in her new home. She is a talker too. As with all cats adopted through PAWS, Zelda has been vetted, vaccinated-including rabies, and microchipped.

Our Adoption Process...

By adopting from PAWS, you not only gain a loving companion – you save a life! We have an enormous variety of animals to choose from -- purebreds, mixed breeds, all ages and personalities -- and our adoption counselors are specially trained to help you choose the pet that's a perfect fit.

PAWS requires that our animals be spayed or neutered before they are adopted. We also require the permission of your landlord if you're renting your home. After you adopt a pet, we expect that you'll have it properly licensed and provide it with a lifetime of responsible care, including nutritious food, fresh water, adequate exercise and regular veterinary visits. And, of course, a lot of love! Adoption donations are $110 for adult cats, $150 for kittens (up to 6 months) and $50 for seniors (age 5 and up)
