This sweet little girl is Persy. Persy came to rescue because she was picked up as a stray and taken to a high kill shelter. Luckily another rescue saw her beautiful face and saved her just before she was scheduled to be euthanized. The other rescue contacted us to see if we could help Persy because little Persy had a BIG belly. Once our wonderful speed racer drove hours to get Persy to us, we were able to take her to our vet to find out how far along Persy was. They did xrays and we found out that she was carrying 8 little puppies and would be due in less than a week. On September 11th, Persy gave birth to 8 little health puppies.
Once she has weaned the puppies, Persy will visit our vet's office again for her spay.
Persy does okay with other dogs, she is great with cats and goats. She LOVES people. Persy thinks that she is a lap dog and wants to be touching you all the time.
Persy is house broken, up to date on her shots, and she does not run off. She can go in the front yard and she stays right with you.
