My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DAPHNE is one of the most elegantly beautiful dogs we have ever seen! She is respectful and sweet with dogs of all ages and sizes. She is a great car passenger and fabulous at the dog park. She doesn't currently live with any cats, but has been uninterested in all the cats we have taken her to meet. DAPHNE is housetrained and very quiet in her crate.. She ADORES the 4 year old little girl in her foster home and all of her friends. This sweet girl can be a little bashful when strangers come to the house. She tends to hang out in her kennel for a few minutes at first, but comes out to say hi after just a little while. Being 3 years old, she is past all the annoying puppy stuff. DAPHNE has great manners in the house but loves a good play in the back yard. Even though she is a calm girl, she has the perfect build for hikes long walks, or jogging. DAPHNE is a true gentle soul and will be an absolute blessing to her forever family!

DAPHNE is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to New England.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
