Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Abby and I am a 2 year old Manchester Terrier mix. PLDP took me under their loving wings when I found myself in a local SPCA after I was found as a stray. Not sure how someone could lose a smart girl like me, but it happened. I weigh a sturdy 15 lbs, I am tall for my weight as you can see I have long beautiful legs and a long tail to match.. I have lots of energy but I love to cuddle and snuggle too. I am crate trained as long as you dont leave me too super long, but who would be?! I will admit when I am running around the house you need to keep an eye on me so I don't have any potty accidents. I wouldn't mind being on a leashed to you in the house until I totally have my manners under control at my new place. I get along with most of my foster siblings but sometimes the little ones just annoy me so my foster mom thinks I shouldn't live with dogs smaller than me or ones that I can pick on because yes I am a little bit of a bully, I am ashamed to admit but its true. As far as cats go I am pretty good with them except if they run from me because I take that as "hey dog chase me" so I chase them, but if the kitty turns around and tells me 'no that's not what i meant" and smacks at me - I quickly get that message and leave them alone. I love to play tug of war with toys (with my human or other dogs) and a mouth size squeaker toy ball is my favorite. I am currently holding the championship title in my foster home with the "'sit' command, and I am doing good at "down" too as long as I see a yummy treat in your hand, why work for free?! I walk super proud on my leash and just love to be out and about. You wont hear a peep out of me while riding in the car in a crate either, I am a fantastic traveler. My foster mom thinks a home with children over 10 would be a good fit for me, someone to play with me and that will respect my space when i need some. I am not a social butterfly, I am somewhat standoffish and scared when first meeting people, so some understanding patience will be needed. Please contact PLDP ppl if you have any questions or would like to meet me. I like my foster home but I know its only temporary so I am anxious to get to my final forever home so I can settle in with my new family! I am UTD, spayed, chipped, HW tested negative and preventative started.
