Blondie (aka Homie)'s Story...
He was WHAT??? Homie was thrown from a car window! Luckily, there was a good Samaritan there in the right place at the right time. This tiny little dude had a little road rash but was none the worse for wear. He has the ultimate fighting spirit. He is the cutest little black guy with an estimated DOB of 8/5/15. He is a bundle of kinetic energy. His foster mom was worried about him being the smallest of the 5 kittens, that the bigger kitties may pick on him. Her worries were so unfounded. He is so confident that he pesters the others. He follows foster sister CP constantly like the annoying little brother he has become. And he loves to be picked up and snuggled sending out the purrs. He is being introduced to the dogs too. He is a faithful litter box user. Homie will bring lots of joy to his new family. Maybe that is you! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Blondie, please contact his foster Judy S at 419-464-6105

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blondie (aka Homie), a Toledo Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
