My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammy's adoption fee is $350.

Sammy is a male 6 yr. old Shih Tzu/Pug mix. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is micro chipped. He weighs about 12.8 kg, and is overweight – his foster mom is working with him on his weight reduction program (he’s learning to like vegetables which supplement his reduced kibble amounts).

Sammy is quite a character. He loves to play with toys and go for walks - he seems tireless. He’s housetrained – he’ll stand at the door to let you know he needs out (you need to watch for that to know when nature calls). He’s well behaved and sits for treats without being asked, and loves to sleep in your bed (but does snore – lol!)

There was another dog in Sammy’s previous home, and we feel he needs a home with another gentle and friendly canine companion to keep him company. He tends to want to chase cats. Sammy gets very excited when you come home – his foster mom ignores him till he calms down. Sammy would make a great addition to a family with a dog that would like a playmate.
