Priscilla's Story...
Priscilla is an approximately 2-3/year old Dachshund/Papillon mix. She is very friendly and needs a forever home! We believe she is potty-trained. She is currently recovering from Kennel Cough, however if after meeting her, you would like to adopt her - you can place an Adoption Hold Deposit of half her total adoption donation to hold her in your name; and as soon as she is well, she will be able to go home!! Expected recovery time is 1-2/weeks.

Prior to placement, Priscilla will be spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Her adoption donation is $200 to help defray her medical costs.

If you are interested in meeting Priscilla, an Adoption Application is required, and can be found at: http://web.mac.com/littleheroesrescue

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Priscilla, a San Clemente Papillon/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon/Dachshund for sale in San Clemente, or seeking a Papillon/Dachshund dog from a breeder in San Clemente.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Clemente already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Clemente breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon/Dachshund breeders who help with Papillon/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Clemente paves the way for another one to be saved.
