Hi my name is Florentine, I am a very elegant gorgeous calico girl with a funny very playful personality. I have a very nice soft fur with lots of colors (brown, caramel, white, black) and I get lots of compliments for my looks. I am a gorgeous Calico girl; I am very playful and would love a home with another cat to hang and play with or just keep each other company. I am a bit shy at first. But just take a minute and show me you care – and I’ll roll over on my back and give you my belly (I trust you!), purring and head butting, appreciating all the attention you give me. I can be very entertaining I am fascinated by water and you can usually find me putting my toys into a water bowl and playing fishing. I really like other cats and would do the best in home with another cat. I am very playful, curious girl. My favorite game is to play with toy-mice, throw it in the air and catch it; I love to chase a wand with a string, bat at a toy and delight in whatever game you have in mind. I enjoy being petted and play hide and seek under blankets and covers, I am full of personality, funny girl. Occasionally you can see me eating my canned food with my paw and than dip my paw into a water to clean it. My favorite game is to put a toy into a water bowl and than play my fishing game. I am very interective girl. I like laser and enjoy chasing that red dot, you know. About Finding Shelter

About Our Rescue Group...

Finding Shelter is a no-kill rescue committed to the saving, rehabilitation, training, and permanent placement of dogs and cats in need of loving homes. A strong committment to animals and people enables us to both save and place animals and to educate the public.

Another part of our mission is to raise awareness of the plight of animals and to the beauty of adopting animals in need of forever loving homes.

Careful screening of all potential adopters allows the best match possible between animal and adopter.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and medically treated. We do not discriminate based on breed age, or health status of the animal.

Our animals come from shelters that frequently euthanize for space or from owners who can no longer care for them for a variety of reasons. We also accept and place companion animals who are unwanted, neglected, or who are released from puppy mills.

I also agree to a “progress check” in the future, where a Finding Shelter representative may visit my home to verify my new pet’s living conditions.
