HALEY's Story...
Haley is a darling, quiet and loving 2 year old, 28 pound girl. She makes no noise in her cage at all. She came to the shelter as a stray on 10/01 and her family did not look for her. She walks nicely on a leash and will sit and stay when she is told. It looks as if she has had babies in her past but never again. She has been spayed, tested negative for heart worms and will be micro-chipped when adopted. She is waiting in cage 314 and her ID# is 579317. Hurry in and make this sweetie your new best friend.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HALEY, a Marietta Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
