My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DELILAH is THE sweetest puppy! This precious little one was saved from a high kill shelter. DELILAH is the kind of puppy everyone wants! She is well behaved, quiet, fun and loving. DELILAH loves to play with her foster siblings in the yard or the house but also settles quickly and loves to be loved on! She is very smart and picks things up very quickly. Her foster parents wrote "We have fostered a lot of puppies in our time with Blues City and we truly have loved each one but there is something very special about Delilah and she will make the perfect addition to some lucky family out there!" Delilah does very well in her crate and goes in without hesitation. She loves to eat, especially cantaloupe! Delilah's nickname is D and she comes without hesitation when she is called. This bright little girl will literally drop the toy she is having fun with in the yard when her foster parents call her! She is an amazing pup! DELILAH is approximately 4 months old and is patiently waiting for her forever family! DELILAH is being fostered in Tennessee.

DELILAH is microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
