My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

STERLING is super sweet! This precious little man was rescued from a high kill shelter. STERLING is approximately 6 months old. He has been living with a wonderful foster family with 4 children! STERLING is awesome with the kids and is very gentle with them. He does well in his kennel, potty training and the leash. He loves to play with his toys but also loves to cuddle and hang out. STERLING is very smart and eager to please. He likes to play outside but also does very well in the house. He follows his 2 year old human foster sister around and they are big buddies. He is a joy to be around and a hoot to watch play! STERLING is hoping to find his forever home soon! STERLING is being fostered in Tennessee and will remain there until he is adopted, at which time he will travel to his new forever home via transport. His adoption fee of 450.00 includes his vaccinations, deworming, heart guard and transport to his new forever home.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
