Zach & Theo's Story...
Theo and Zach are two cute little beagle boys from North Carolina. They love curling up together and playing with one another. Both are outgoing with other dogs and people. They are sweet, affectionate and engaging with new people on walks and outings. They've come from a neglect case where a pack of beagles were left to fend for themselves. These two were in the best shape and are in good health physically and emotionally. But we think they'd do best when placed together. We may split them up but require that each go to a home where another dog, preferably a hound, is present. These boys are 2 - 3 yrs old and will have an ideal weight of about 30 lbs each. Arriving in Massachusetts in late October.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zach & Theo, a Lexington Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Lexington, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Lexington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lexington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lexington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lexington paves the way for another one to be saved.
