My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We just took this little girl into rescue as her owner recently had a stroke and no one in her family wanted her. The owner's daughter said she was going to have her put to sleep on.. why?.. she has diabetes and needs two shots a day. She is a young dog only 5 yrs....35 lbs , she is spayed, utd on all shots, heart worm negative and obviously has been well looked after. Her insulin per the shelter costs only $13 per month. She is getting 5 units twice a day and it is not a big deal to give the shots, very quick and eas. She is house trained, loves people and other dogs.. can anyone give her a loving home??..There is just a small adoption fee..her name is AVERY.. contact tananeel@gmail.com for more info and an application.

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email. Also, The state of MA does not allow adoptions of dogs that are heart worm positive.
