Patti's Christmas wish......a home for the holidays!
Patti has been perhaps our most overlooked dog this year. Patti has learned to walk nicely on a halti leash, goes potty mostly outside, (new transitions and routines may be throwing her off, but we think she spent the first year of her life tethered up outside somewhere) and her excitability around other animals turns out to be the biggest Joie de vive! She sees every new animal as somebody to play with! Most cats seem to find her wrestling highly offensive though. At adoption events she is the first knucklehead to roll over for a belly rub, or bowl you over to give kisses! We think she may be part American Bulldog, cause she is either really stubborn or really dense.
She's had no issues sharing toys or deferring to other resident dogs. While she isn't looking for trouble, she is confident and won't take getting bullied. Her fosters can get her attention faster than their own dogs. While she likes food, she eats with the others without an issue. Kids are able to hug her and lay on her and she loves the doggy bed. She can be a bit of a bull in a china shop when she is excited, but she's lovely.
Please help us find this girl the fur ever home she deserves for the holidays! If you are interested, please submit a non-binding application to meet her: http://kninerescue.rescuegroups.org/info/file?file=19787.pdf
