My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Macie (HWTH#15403B). She is a Doberman Pinscher mix, DOB: 10/13/13. Macie weighs approximately 60-65 pounds and stands 25 inches at the shoulders. She has been returned to Halfway to Home because her owner is in the armed forces and has been deployed. Macie is a high-energy girl who is very friendly and will need a high-energy owner to keep up with her (possibly a runner or person who wants to get involved with a dog sport?). Lots of love, good-quality human companionship, playtime, a great deal of exercise and training will be needed to help Macie be the best she can be. When Macie is thoroughly settled in her new Forever home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and the bonding process. Once Macie has bonded with her new owner, she will make a most loyal canine companion. Macie is good with other dogs and is crate trained.
