Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This stunning Carolina Dog was rescued by SCD from the Arlington, TX shelter with minutes to spare! Terrified in the shelter - she was on their euthanization list for being fearful....and she was very frightened when we pulled her to safety. But with a bit of time and the encouragement from her foster brother Bailey, she's coming around wonderfully!
Isla is a shade over 50 lbs., about 10 months old, HW negative, spayed and fully up to date on her vaccines. She ignores the cat in the house and is learning to play and have fun after being an outdoor dog (per the owner surrender papers). She's very curious about things and her confidence is building on a daily basis. She'll need a home that's experienced with the breed and will give her the exercise this breed needs.
Isla LOVES to play in the water and romp around with her foster brother....she walks well on a leash, but would definitely benefit from some training classes. She's in Texas, but we can transport to just about anywhere in the country.
