Facts about Jethro

  • Breed: Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) Mix
  • Color: Brown/Chocolate - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: Jennifer Davis
Jethro is one of a litter of 8 who were left to die in a box next to a dumpster. Luckily someone found them and took them to animal control, where officers quickly got them into foster homes.
He was bottle fed from the age of 2 weeks and has been attending adoption events for a year, but still hasn't found the perfect home.  Despite lots of handling and socialization, he is a shy little guy who is a little leery of strangers.  Once you have gained his trust, however, he is a cuddly, sweet, playful, talkative little boy. He loves to chew on his toys, play in the water, and sleep under the covers where he can always be touching his favorite human. He would do best in a home where he can get plenty of play, exercise, and attention, but where there won't be lots of "strangers" (to him) coming and going.
If you'd like more information about little Jethro, or would like to fill out an adoption application, please contact Jennifer at augrad@att.net.

Our Adoption Process...

Prospective adopters are required to fill out an application asking if everyone in the household is in agreement to adopting a pet, ages of household members, other pets in household, and where the animal will stay. References are required. All of our pets are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations, tested for diseases, and microchipped. Our adoption fee is $120 for a kitten ($200 for two), $90 for a cat older than 4 months; and $175 for a dog.
