Lyric's Story...
Lyric was given her name because of her gentleness and loving spirit--she is like a sweet song you never get tired of. She is a petite young adult. Lyric gets along with other cats and doesn't mind if she has another cat for a boss. She is cautious around dogs, but does not seem to mind them. One of the sweetest things besides her disposition is her soft meow. She absolutely loves cuddling and being held. If you would like more information, her foster mom is available to answer all your questions. Please email info@FORrescue.net. If you'd like to complete an application and get things started, please complete the cat application at www.FORrescue.net. Lyric has received full vet services (Felv/Fiv test, spay, microchip, vaccinations, exam) and her adoption fee is $25. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lyric, a Nashville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
