Mighty Mouse's Story...
Mighty Mouse here! I'm a six month old make Chihuahua. I'm only six pounds right now, but that doesn't stop my huge personality. I'm learning my basic commands and I do great with house training and sleep in my crate at night. I love kids and other dogs so a home with both would be amazing. I'm afraid of cats and I like to bark at them. A fenced in yard and loving humans that know how to train me would be great. I love to play with other dogs and relocate sticks and leaves. I'm learning about carrying toys around, but mostly like to be by my people and cuddle on their lap. My foster mom says I'm an amusing little guy. I am very friendly and approach people happily. I will certainly alert you if someone comes to the door. I love to be with my person's shadow and go everywhere you go. I love car rides and promise to bring you lots of laughs and joy with my antics. I'm fully vetted and my adoption fee is $200. Please email rescueofhope@gmail.com for an application to give me the best home ever!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mighty Mouse, a Grand Rapids Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
