Included in the adoption fee are rabies & distemper vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, spay or neuter surgery, and a free initial exam by one of many generous veterinary clinics who have donated their service.
Spalding came to the shelter because his previous owner thought he was too hyper for their lifestyle. He will be great with a family who will give him the exercise and playtime that he needs to be happy and healthy. He is quite portly and will benefit from the extra exercise so that he can lose a few pounds, as well.
We always recommend crate training, exercise, playtime, and a regular schedule for potty breaks when bringing a new dog into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time!
