Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlie is wonderful with other dogs, respectful of cats, and loves children. He likes to sleep in a bed curled up next to his human every night, so he would love to have a kid of his own to share a bunk with! Charlie is almost fully house trained, he knows how to 'sit', and he rides quietly in a car. He has been raised on a horse farm, so he also does well with horses and farm equipment. He has normal puppy energy, and he would do best in a household that can exercise him regularly and appreciate his puppy exuberance. Charlie got a rough start in life, having been dumped in the shelter's drop pen with a nasty case of demodex mange. Charlie spent a month at the shelter losing his hair and his health, and he was facing certain euthanasia until his FOR foster stepped in to save him. Charlie was treated for demodex mange (non contagious), and in one month's time he has fully healed and has grown back 80% of his hair. He is now well on his way to a happy, healthy life. Charlie currently weighs 28 pounds, and we anticipate him finishing in the 40-45 pound weight range. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated. If you would like to apply for adoption, please see www.forrescue.net/dog-application. To speak with his foster mom, please email info@FORrescue.net. Charlie is fostered in Huntsville, AL. Thank you!
