Stryker's Story...
Handsome Stryker is a good looking 5 year old cattle dog mix who can't wait to join his new home. Its truly a mystery why this charming fella hasn't been adopted yet... hes awesome! Stryker came to us when his previous owner was moving, and was unable to take him along. He has been great with the other dogs in the adoption facility and has loved the kids who have visited (he might however accidentally knock over any young toddlers with his happy energy). He appears to be crate-trained (possibly even house-broken) and is very mild mannered. He loves treats, which should not only help with his adjustment into your home, but will also assist in any extra training he might need. He is up to date on his vaccinations, is microchipped, and neutered. Stop by to visit with lovable Stryker today! We are open from 12-6 daily!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stryker, a Benbrook Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
