My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed: Beagle mix
DOB: 2008
Sex: Spayed Female
Weight: 25 pounds

Miss Bella is a 7 year-old Beagle mix. She has many traits of a typical Beagle: Playful, loving, easy-going, and Oh Yes, Smells Everything!!
She loves playing with her toys, lounging around, but most of all she loves puttering outside, picking up whatever scent happens to be around. For this reason, Bella will need to have a fenced in yard. It is very hard to call Bella when she has found something interesting in the yard. She has the famous ARROOO sounding bark/howl, LOL. Inside, she is very loving and is always curious to see what you are up to. She loves sleeping under the covers...must be the short hair she has.
She is completely housetrained, and can be kept loose in the house while her humans are at work.

Bella does come with a couple of issues. She is not fond of young children so she needs to go to a home with only teenage kids or an adult only home. She also is not real friendly with other dogs. She is adjusting here in her foster home, sharing the home with 2 other dogs, so she has made great improvements in this area, but Bella would be most happy as an only dog. We know this limits her options, but we only have Bella's best interest in mind. She is a great companion, and would be a great addition in the right environment. Life is never dull with her around!!

We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check our front page for the dates of our next Pet Parade. Appointments outside of Pet Parade to visit our dogs are only available after an application has been filled out, and processing has begun.
