Styx's Story...
Styx is one of 5 Boxer mix pups that are available for adoption at the Pet Adoption Center. They are 7 weeks old approximately and were originally found abandoned. They are busy being socialized and paper trained and have all spent time in foster care. They are all mostly Boxer and are absolutely adorable bundles of love. PLEASE REMEMBER they are puppies and require lots of training, patience and attention. They will be adopted to INSIDE HOMES ONLY that will treat them as members of the family. Please email, call or stop by the Pet Adoption Center to fill out an application for one of these adorable adoptables! They will all be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. All of our dogs receive extra love and attention. They are tested for Heartworms, vaccinated, spay/neutered, microchipped and Revolution flea/tick applied prior to adoption. In addition, all dogs come with a six week mandatory obedience training certificate, so the dog is well behaved and stays in your home for life not just a few months.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Styx, a Newburgh Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
