Dino's Story...
Dino is an adorable Border Collie mixed male. He is roughly a year and a half old, and full grown at a nice 30 lbs. This sweet boy was picked up as a stray and brought to Troy AC. This is a pound with all outdoor cages; any animal that winds up there is left to fend the elements off for themselves. For this reason the Lovely Paws People work hard to save everything they can from there. Dino is nothing but a little goofball. He loves absolutely everyone and everything. Ever since we saved him has done nothing but love on everyone! He is quite the ham! Dino would fit in perfectly with an active family and a fenced in yard. He is a great size for a home with kids looking for a best friend in the form of a dog! We have been working on training with Dino and he is very eager to please! With the right family they should be able to teach him every trick in the book! Dino has been fully vetted and is already to find his forever home. He is available through PAWS and his adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dino, a Elsberry Border Collie/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Beagle for sale in Elsberry, or seeking a Border Collie/Beagle dog from a breeder in Elsberry.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elsberry already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elsberry breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Beagle breeders who help with Border Collie/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elsberry paves the way for another one to be saved.
