Roscoe's Story...
This energetic little boy (7 weeks on 10/10) is always ready to be held and loved. He is very active and would do best with older children--not nasty at all, he just likes to move around. He talks and talks and loves his brother, Tony. They spend hours chasing each other, cuddling in the hammock and wrestling. We would love to get them adopted together if possible. He is a real sweetie and his pictures don't do him justice. He just couldn't sit still long enough to get some cute photos.
There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a mandatory $50 deposit is required and can be returned upon veterinary proof of neuter when Roscoe is older.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Quincy Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Quincy, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Quincy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quincy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quincy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quincy paves the way for another one to be saved.
