CAMBY - ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
LULU'S SAYS MEET CAMBY! Camby is a friendly 11 month old, 30 lb female Lab / Hound / Australian Shepherd mix. Camby was one of 9 pups born to a stray in a southern backyard. She started life outside, but is now an inside dog who loves to cuddle on the couch or by the fire. Camby's made remarkable progress a short time. She is shy at first around new people, especially men, but if you approach her slowly and gently, she will respond in no time. Camby just wants to feel loved, comfortable, and safe. She’s a very sweet, loving, and smart dog. She picks up on commands pretty quickly. Camby has been fostered with other dogs and gets along with them great! Camby prefers to interact with other dogs her own size or smaller - larger dogs cause her to shy away a bit at first. Her foster mom says 'Camby is a perfect southern lady! Well mannered, soft spoken and completely lovable! She is house trained, lease trained and loves to snuggle on the sofa. She prefers carpet to hardwood and knows her basic commands like sit, stay, down -- she even stops at the front hall throw rug so I can wipe her paws when we return from a walk. What nice manners! She's in heaven when getting pets and when you stop, she pokes her nose in your arm and taps her paw on you nicely to ask you to start petting her again. It's really cute! She's almost to the point where she'll shake your hand. She loves to give kisses! At night when we all settle down to watch some TV, Camby will keep getting closer and closer until she is in my lap where she will fall asleep and have puppy dreams. Once it's bed time for us humans, Camby goes right into her crate where she sleeps quietly until we wake her up in the morning. Camby would do best in a household where she can have lots of love and attention. She would be especially good for a mature owner who would like a nice companion who minds her manners and does not jump up.' Such a good girl! Would do best in a quieter household with older children. Camby loves to run around and would love a fenced in yard where she can exercise to her heart's content. Camby is recommended for a first-time dog owner who can provide her with attention, love, exercise and ideally a fenced-in yard. She’s housebroken, crate-trained and nearly leash-trained. She is going to make some family a wonderful pet! Camby is spayed, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Her adoption fee is $350. Why Adoption is a Great Option

CAMBY - ADOPTION PENDING, a Point Pleasant Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Point Pleasant, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Point Pleasant.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Point Pleasant already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Point Pleasant breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Point Pleasant paves the way for another one to be saved.
