CINDY's Story...
LULU'S SAYS MEET CINDY, our 2-year-old Pointer mix weighing about 70 lbs. Cindy was picked up as a stray, and we recently sprung her from the animal control facility where she was taken. She is super-playful and full of energy, ready to make a great companion or jogging partner for an active adult. She is selective with other dogs and not a fan of cats, so we recommend Cindy for a single-dog household. She is loving and sweet and bonds with people easily, and she has her whole life ahead of her to be a great member of an active family. Cindy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heart worm negative; her adoption fee is $295. Please visit our website WWW.LULUSRESCUE.COM and click on the ADOPT tab for an extensive overview of our process. LULU'S SAYS THANKS FOR ADOPTING AND SAVING A LIFE; you are Cindy’s hero!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CINDY, a Point Pleasant German Shorthaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Point Pleasant, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Point Pleasant.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Point Pleasant already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Point Pleasant breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Point Pleasant paves the way for another one to be saved.
