JUPITER's Story...
JUPITER - what a guy! This is a fantastic boy - 4 year old Dutch Shepherd/Boxer mix. He is a lover of people and women are drawn to his copper colored eyes like a planet to the sun (hello). Jupiter walks great on leash and is good with other dogs. He loves to chase and fetch tennis balls, but can entertain himself with a twig quite nicely in a pinch. Jupiter is neutered, current on shots, chipped, heartworm negative and housetrained. FOSTER HOME NEEDED. DONATION FOR KENNELING NEEDED. Adoption fee $150. For an application or additional information, please call/text 303-882-0837 or email dancingdogrescue@earthlink.net. Update: 12/21/15: Jupiter loves to cuddle on the couch and hanging out with his foster family's cats and other dogs. He is also perfectly housetrained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JUPITER, a Littleton German Shepherd Dog/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Boxer for sale in Littleton, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Boxer dog from a breeder in Littleton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Littleton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Littleton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Boxer breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Littleton paves the way for another one to be saved.
