Just look at this sweet face!! Rascal’s life was a little rough until his foster mom spotted him at the Corpus Christi Animal Control shelter and could not resist him!! Having been a street dog, he sat terrified in a corner of the shelter until his time was up. Poor guy - he had demodectic mange and was completely unsocialized. He refused any human contact in the beginning but with the help of all the other dogs in the pack and the fact that his foster mom could see his potential, he has blossomed into one of his foster mom's very favorite rescue dogs!!
Rascal has a very funny personality. He's great with all dogs and plays and plays- and prefers to play with the big dogs! He loves to be held and will fall asleep with a little scratching but he's an independent guy. He is not needy and he is just as happy to entertain himself and hang out with the other dogs. Rascal will need someone that is willing to be patient and earn his trust. They will never regret their decision to give this boy a chance. He's one of the coolest dogs we know!!
Rascal is heart worm negative, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations and he is neutered. His adoption fee is $150. If you would like more information or an adoption application, please call Rascal's foster mom at (210) 464-0160 or email her at Redbarnkennel1863@gmail.com
