Pepper's Story...
This is how happiness looks! Warm, soft eyes, grinning mouth and energy barely concealed by her sleek black and white coat. Meet spicy Miss Pepper, sassy and saucy with just the right tinge of naughty, but oh-so-nice. Lively and lovable, she lives to love, and thrives most when nearest to her people. She may be close to 2 years old, but she’s as peppy and playful as a puppy. She gets along with other dogs as well as most cats, and rides easily, breezily in the car. Then there’s also a chill side to this hot Pepper, when she enjoys nothing more than curling up or hanging out. As bright as her black button nose, she’s a minimal barker, and is both house and crate trained and doesn't chew. This “spice girl” needs an adoptive home where consistency rules, and where a firm but patient pack leader will lovingly lead her into balanced doggy adulthood. Currently being fostered in Birmingham, AL, pretty Pepper hopes her forever home is just a happy heartbeat away. Send us a message at info@forrescue.net and we can answer all of your questions or better yet follow this link http://forrescue.net/dog-application/ and fill out our application, so we can call and talk to you about this special girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Marietta Corgi/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Collie for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Corgi/Collie dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Collie breeders who help with Corgi/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
