Included in the adoption fee are rabies & distemper vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, spay or neuter surgery, and a free initial exam by one of many generous veterinary clinics who have donated their service.
Peanut came to the shelter because her previous owner wasn't able to spend the time required to train her. She is very high energy and playful and will do well with a family who is active and dedicated to manners training and providing lots of exercise and playtime.
We always recommend crate training, exercise, playtime, and a regular schedule for potty breaks when bringing a new dog into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time!
