INTRODUCING Tripod-Trocar!!! This girl was quite the ham during her photo shoot today! Trocar was hit by a car when she ran out in front of someone traveling down a local highway. The man that hit her felt horrible and rushed her into the vet, our vet tried everything to save her leg, but it was just in to bad of shape and had to be amputated. The accident also injured her left eye causing blindness in that eye. Despite the unfortunate hurdles this girl has crossed, she is so happy and loving. Trocar is a 2 year old medium size lab mix. She is great with other dogs, cats , and children. This chick LOVES to wrestle, run and play with all of her friends in her foster home. She is very affectionate and loves to roll over on her back for belly scratches! When she first arrived in her foster home she was nervous and shy and would sometimes submissive urinate. Now that she is adjusted and has confidence it has greatly improved. She is now crate trained and potty trained to a doggy door. Being an amputee doesn't limit this girl, she can run like the wind, chase her tail(which is very funny to watch), and completely maneuver any obstacle life offers.
