Maverick is neutered, UTD on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Approx. DOB is Oct 2014.
10/13/15 update: After a short bout with gum issues, Maverick is now ready for his forever home. He has mild gingivitis and needs to be watched for stomatitis. He was treated in April 2015 for a small occurance, but was given the all-clear in October.
But, don't let this scare you. He's a laidback guy with a super-long tail. He's a solid 10 pounds and has long legs. He likes to come snuggle with his foster mom at bed time, where he gets lots of head scratches. He does like to get in on play time with his foster friends, but he's grown out of the 'crazy kitten' phase.
You can read more about gingivitis and stomatitis here: www.petmd.com/cat/conditions/mouth/c_ct_gingivitis ; www.petmd.com/cat/conditions/mouth/c_ct_stomatitis
Maverick loves to snuggle with his sister Alayne. They can often be found smushed together in a single cat bed in the front window. He would do best in a home with a companion. He is fostered with other cats and a small, 20 lb. dog.
