There are some dogs who are so awesome, it's hard to believe that someone isn't frantically searching for them! That's Kady's story: brought into a shelter as a stray and never claimed. When her time was up, her winning smile, waggly tail and loving personality caught the attention of our local rescue director who couldn't make that her last day on earth. So she was pulled, vetted, and now she's coming up to start the rest of her life! Kady is a loving, intelligent, eager-to-please girl who has never shown anything but sweetness with everyone -- human and canine. She's happy to let the other dogs be the boss -- the role as "follower" suits her just fine! She still gets her bouts of the "puppy crazies" every now and then, which is totally age (and breed) appropriate and really pretty adorable!!! She's also been great with visiting kids as you can see in the photo. She's about 1 - 2 years old, weighs about 50 - 60 pounds, possibly with a little more filling out to do, and she is a very healthy girl. It's hard to see much more than Lab in her, and her exuberance and love of life are true to her breed heritage. We are hoping that someone will see all that Kady has to offer and give her a home where she will be safe and cherished forever.
