Leonardo & Louise are a highly bonded pair of either sister/brother or father/daughter boxer mixes. These 2 dogs are fantastically tempered with people, and despite their ages (8+) are very healthy and playful!
Leo & Louise are the only 2 dogs in our program that we will allow to go into a home that would like outside dogs. They were likely kenneled their entire life and our attempts to make them "house dogs" for over a year, were unsuccessful. NO CHAINS - secure kennel ONLY. We will send them with a newly built, fully insulated custom built double dog house - they prefer to sleep together.
The change in their energy and contenment was considerable when we moved them outside. This is the ONLY reason that we will allow a kennel as a home for them. This does NOT mean that we want them IGNORED in their new home. They need a yard to run and PLAY with their humans as well.
Leo & Louise are spayed and neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and come with 30 days of FREE health insurance. The adoption donation for the pair is just $100 and comes with the dog house above, valued at $400 plus. If you'd like to be Leo & Louise's forever family, please complete our adoption application at www.pawscrossroads.org
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES FULLY.
Please note, we do not have a shelter or public location. This means there are no 'Hours of Operation'. If you want to adopt or meet an animal, you must follow the above procedure.
