Gretchen's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Gretchen's Story...
Gretchen. 2 year old Doberman Pinscher mix. Housetrained, spayed, up to date on vaccinations.

Gretchen is a sweet girl who gets along with all dogs. She is a bit undersocialized and timid. She is bonded with Hershey (an 8 year old Chocolate Lab with our rescue) and they must be adopted as a pair. Due to Gretchen’s shyness, a home without small children would be best. If you are looking for two wonderful dogs that will keep each other company while you happen to be away, then Hershey and Gretchen could be for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gretchen, a Indianapolis Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
