Junebug's Story...
My name is Junebug and I am a 4 year old Chi mix. I came to No Wagging Tail Left Behind from a hoarding situation. Now that I've been in a foster home for a while I'm a happy, confident little girl! I am most content in quiet, relaxed homes, and enjoy having a companion dog around to cuddle and play with. I love taking walks and trips to the dog park. I am housebroken, well-mannered, and get along great with kids and dogs of all sizes. I've got a fun personality that is sure to make you smile!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Junebug, a San Diego Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
