Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Abigail is a large breed mix. Her mom was a German Shepherd mix and dad was a Bernese Mountain dog. She has been inside a foster home, is crate trained and introduced to house training. She plays well with other dogs and has been introduced to cats. She has been around young children and can play easy. She is a puppy and has many changes to go through before reaching adulthood. She will need a strong leader to keep her under control since there is a chance she will be a large girl. A fenced in yard or an active outdoor family would be best.
If you do not have Internet, contact our Office at 540-586-6100 and Office Manager, Diane, will get a message to the foster home to call you.
If you would like to meet Abigail please go to http://bhsva.org/adoptions-home.htm to fill out an adoption. BHS houses all dogs in fosters homes so please fill out an application to set up a meet and greet with the dog you are interested in.
