Cinnamon's Story...
Cinnamon is a striking orange tabby full of play & activity. He has always been outgoing & sure of himself. He has been raised with dogs & likes to play with them as well as other cats, sometimes too much for quieter, older cats. He is settling down as he gets older. Cinnamon was found in deserted in a rainstorm when he was little, but even then his purr was loud & he was unafraid. He was born in the summer of 2015. Cinnamon has always been healthy, is current on his vaccines, tested negative for FeLV & FIV. He is neutered & microchipped, so he is ready to go. To learn more about Cinnamon, contact our Office at 540-586-6100 and our Office Manager will get a message to the foster home to call you. You can instead go to http://bhsva.org/adoptions-home.htm to fill out an Adoption Application to set up a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cinnamon, a Bedford Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
