Leopold's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Leopold's Story...
I'm a lazy kitten who loves to purr. While most kittens run and play, I would much rather spend my day laying on your lap while you pet me. I love kids and get along with the older cats in the foster home I was raised in. My time at my foster home has been fun, but it's time for me to lounge on new laps. Is there space for me on yours?

Leopold's adoption fee is $100. In addition to being neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots, he has also been tested for feline leukemia and FIV; both are negative. If you would like to ask questions or arrange a visit with Leopold please call Helping Strays at 618-282-7387. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leopold, a Columbia Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
