Swartz's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Swartz's Story...
Swartz doesn't know why a guy as regal as him landed at Bryan County Animal Control. He's a good eater and loves his daily walks.
Adoption fees are $40 per feline and $150 per canine unless otherwise specified. Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Swartz, a Savannah Great Dane/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Pointer for sale in Savannah, or seeking a Great Dane/Pointer dog from a breeder in Savannah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Savannah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Savannah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Pointer breeders who help with Great Dane/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Savannah paves the way for another one to be saved.
