My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This precious little poodle mix is one of the sweetest and happiest dogs you will meet. He is approx 9 months old and 13 lbs at 10/15/15. He was turned into the shelter by his owner that left him outside in the yard 24/7.. He was so matted we had to shave him down, but his coat is growing in beautifully. He has the best personality, always happy, always wagging his tail. He loves to jump and play and will stand on his hind legs for treats. He gets along with all of the other dogs and just loves people. He is quiet and just a really endearing and a sweet dog with a funny personality. He likes to act the clown. He seems to be quite well house trained and does ok on a leash .

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email. Also, The state of MA does not allow adoptions of dogs that are heart worm positive. We are required to do a foster to adopt until the dog tests heart worm negative, usually in 4-6 months after treatment.
