Cleo Kitty's Story...
Meet Cleo! How sweet is that face? Don't be fooled! This one is a handful. She is the busiest kitten that her foster mom has ever had. She absolutely LOVES to play, and she can have fun anywhere. She loves other cats, dogs, and people. She has perfect litter box manners, and a healthy appetite. She would love to have another animal to play with, as she is very social, and loves attention. Do you have room for her in your family? She is fostered in Madison Alabama, but wouldn't mind a little traveling to find her perfect family.
She is spayed, micro-chipped, felv/fiv negative, and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations.
If you are interested in adopting Cleo, please email info@FORrescue.net. She will get adopted fast, so if you would like to get a head start, please fill out an application at www.forrescue.net/cat-application. It doesn't bind you to anything, it's just our starting point.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cleo Kitty, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
