Sammee's Story...
Hi I'm Sammee. My foster mom challenges you to find sweeter kitties than me and my sister Suzee. We were just a few days old when our family was removed from an abusive situation in a Pottstown neighborhood. We were adopted and lived with a family for the past year but they had to give us up because of allergies and family problems.

I am a super sweet, laid back gray tabby boy kitty. I like to be held and sit in your lap. I have a loud purr too. I want your attention and will do whatever necessary to get it.

We are both very docile, gentle kitties. We were born on September 19, 2014. I would like to be adopted with Suzee but applications for us singly will be considered. Although I am a very social kitty, I prefer a home without dogs or very young children.

Sammee is neutered, litterbox trained, is up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammee, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
