Emmy's Info...

I am already spayed/neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Emmy's Story...

Emmy is an adorable 'somewhat overweight' adult blue heeler (Australian Cattle Dog). She was an Owner Relinquish (County not specified) on 10/09/15 because the Owner was moving. It is hard to understand an owner turning in their dog (that he or she has had for years) to a Shelter. At input, Emmy weighed 64 lbs and was about 9 years old. her weight should be brought down to about 50 lbs. She was spayed at input and is up-to-date on her vaccines. This beautiful lady needs a warm, loving home where she can spend her remaining years. Emma is friendly, house-trained, micro-chipped (981020013288730), and knows commands. She will be a wonderful companion dog for a single person or an elderly couple. If you would like to adopt Emmy and provide a good home for her, please email the Shelter at vras1@frontier.com or call them at 828-837-2304.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emmy, a Marble Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Marble, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Marble.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marble already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marble breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marble paves the way for another one to be saved.
