Ellie is a 3 year old Plott Hound/Lab mix girl who is looking for her forever home!
If you are looking for the sweetest dog you will ever meet, look no further! When Ellie first came to us she was terrified of life. She had obviously not been treated well by people in the past, but her foster mom was patient and gentile with her and slowly but surely, the real Ellie began to emerge. Now Ellie loves to be around people, she follows her foster mom everywhere, even snuggles with her at night.
Ellie is so well behaved in the house, she has never had an accident in the house and doesn't need to be crated because she can be trusted not to be destructive. She gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playing, but mostly she is just content to snuggle down next to you on the couch or on her dog bed. Ellie has a moderate energy level and would like to keep her human company on hikes or runs, but she is not a dog that needs a lot of activity to be happy.
Overall, if you are looking for an affectionate, loving, and loyal dog, Ellie is the girl for you. Show her some love, gentleness, and kindness, and she will love you back more than you can ever imagine.
Ellie is microchipped, spayed, current on all her shots, and ready to find her forever home!
