Pistacio's Story...
I'm not a yapper, I'm a LOVER!! When you look at my picture, imagine a warm hug from me! My specialty is snuggling, mainly at night, but I'm good anytime! =) I also do kisses, but my foster mom loves to snuggle with me! She says I'm an expert! Wherever she goes, I keep an eye on her. No, I'm not a stalker; I just love to be with my people! I can't wait to find a forever home! I'm a handsome guy and I'm really easy to love. I can jump on your lap, you can scritch my neck or my back, I love walks, and I ride really well in the car! My hair is quite soft! You can pet me and I'll sit very quietly. Please consider meeting me! I'm a very good boy. If you explain what you want me to do, I'll try my best to do it. I'm up-to-date on my shots, am neutered, and have my microchip so I don't get lost. Please go to the official website of www.AdorableDogRescue.org OR to our sister site of www.CastOffCockers.org to complete and submit an Adoption Application. My adoption fee is only $125 and I keep my bag packed in case you want me to move in! =) Ask my foster mom! She'll tell ya that I'm real lovable!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pistacio, a Phoenix Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
