Colt's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Colt's Story...
Colt is boxer/lab mix. He is a little forward with some dogs, we do require a dog to dog match-up with current dogs in the home. He should do well with cats, and children six years and older. He is not for the first time pet owner, and may require a fenced-in yard pending your location. Colt holds a very special place in our hearts, and we know he is going to make a great companion for the right family.

*Colt's adoption fee is $200. All HSSCM dogs are neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and are on a monthly flea/heartworm prevention.*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Colt, a Battle Creek Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Battle Creek, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Battle Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battle Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battle Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battle Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
