My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Lucky" probably isn't the first word that comes to mind when we tell you that Beecher was tossed over the fence of a rural animal shelter in the dark of night. But he was indeed fortunate: he could've been abandoned in the woods to starve, sold as a bait dog or even worse. And because we found this handsome boy the next morning, we were able to immediately place him in a loving foster home where he has spent several months playing with other dogs and a busy three year old. In his spare time, he's been learning his house manners (he's a sofa hog) & crate training. Beecher is easy going, affectionate & bright and pretty laid back for a pup his age. He'd be a wonderful playmate for kids or another dog and would also do well as an only dog with an active, attentive owner. He's a such a delightful dog it's hard for us to imagine why anyone would throw him away. Our Beecher is not only lucky; he's four-legged, furry, and panting proof of the old saying, "One man's trash is another man's (or woman's) treasure." (TIA)
